The Q20 is gonna have a Bold 9000 feel mixed with a Q10 and have a toolbelt with a larger screen... this is gonna be the revolutionary device for BlackBerry to bring them back... if they do it properly. they need to make sure they stop having all that extra real estate space above the screen and use that space for the actual screen, and move the "BlackBerry" logo from there!

Come on BlackBerry let's do this

I guess I should take a moment to review this said device. I tend to not believe about a new device till I actually see it.

I still have mixed feeling about this toolbelt coming back...I think BlackBerry could have tried other wise to convert bb7 users to bb10 instead of giving them the 5 buttons they seem to think they can't live witout.... BlackBerry user since 2006 here with lots of bolds and curves, never missed these buttons on my Q1O.

i'm just glad to learn how to make the best of a new OS that keeps getting better. Yes some learning curve in the. First 2-3 weeks but cruising after that.

If BlackBerry thinks bb7 will save it, it's doomed.

It's a great plan..since bb7 devices out sold bb10 by 2:1. This should bridge the gap and flip that result

Not to side track the conversation. But, I loved my 8700 & 9900. Now, if they made a 9900 WITH OS 10, I'd be happy. And no, the Q10 is not quite it. Just saying.

Q10 rocks. I guess it you like that hot row of keys I see why the Q20 would or could be better.

I love the Q10, compared to all of the other phones out there, but if they would have put the belt on a Q10 it would have been even better in my opinion. So I hope the rest of the specs on the Q20 is good, I would love to have it.

I dunno, I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about the q20, Ideally, a slider about the size of the z30 would have me all over it.

I don't think you can get any more accurate, especially one handed, than with a trackpad. It will help with text editing and filling out web forms, for sure.

But where I miss it most is editing my calendar.

I loved the hardware of my Bold 9900 and I love the BB10 OS of my Q10, so to combine both in one phone is awesome. The Q20 sounds like my dream phone.

i just wish they'd come out with a 'torch 10' or something of that nature....giving the option of having the qwerty keyboard or the touch-screen one......i wish this is where the Q20 was heading....but even if its a "Bold 10", thats still good too, i like those devices as well...my first real "love" for blackberry came from using a Torch though...and I think thats why I like it so much

We'll see when the Z3 comes out. I think it plays a factor, but the fact is, people are willing to spend money on smart phones as long as it has the features they feel they want or need.

Q20 has to be a Z30 with a smaller screen and physical keyboard + the belt, everything else has to be better or at least equal, i.e. natural sound, battery life, Miracast, etc.

Add on to it, not take away.

I can wait. I think it is a step backwards, but I understand the business reason for this "nod" to the longtime, old-school users.

As mentioned elsewhere in this post, coming from a 9900, the Q10 had a steep learning curve. The biggest challenge for me was the carrier supplied version of the OS. Once I installed my first "leak", there was no going back.

Hopefully Blackberry is able to achieve their objective and convert the OS 7 users, get the positive aspects OS10 back in the media, and put this "Blackberry is going out of business" talk where it belongs.

I'm sure this is exciting for a lot who want the keyboard and the track pad. Now that I have gone BlackBerry touch screen for a year I don't think there is any going back for me, but glad to see some excitement for the device. Anything that restores excitement for BlackBerry is definitely a good thing. Nevertheless, I hoping to get one in my hands to play with.

i could do with or without the tool belt. BUT i definitely think we should try to sleek/chic-out the Q10 concept with a much larger screen.I still think that changing the eat piece from a bar to the actual blackberry logo is a more modern way to not only brand the phone, but something different in a subtle way. no?
