    Restarting didn't solve it. I think problem caused from me changing my OS version.

    There is a light sensor and the keypad light will only come on when the device is used in low-light and dark conditions. The sensor is on near the top on the front of the device. Try covering the top of the device and see if you notice the keyboard light come on. If not, run the BlackBerry Virtual Expert app and see if it detects any problems with your device. If so, I would suspect that it has nothing to do with the fact that you changed your OS version but might very well be a hardware issue.
