I just used AT&T's live chat service. That rep said that both the Passport and Classic were confirmed to be released on AT&T, but no date has been set yet.

For Verizon, I had a sales rep tell me "at the end of this month" (so next week), and I've read February 5th in some other forum. I take both with a grain of salt, however I think it will happen sooner rather than later.

Just left an AT&T store. Of course they still have NO clue when either will launch. Funny thing happened. They asked to see my Passport and showed it off to all the employees. Even took it to the back of the store. They seemed genuinely impressed. Even said a few people have come in to get a sim card.

Not that it matters much but I'm in Denver.

I talked to At&t customer service (611) and the guy had no clue what a BlackBerry Passport even was lol. So he went looking at the website while I was on the phone lol. He had no clue, so I ended up hanging up on him and getting back to work lol!!

Maybe shop crackberry with a shipping date of Feb 5 on Classic and Passport charging cradles is a hint. It's too bad crackberry stopped doing any reporting and just pushes out press releases, In the old days US carrier release dates were hot topics for CB, not just speculation here in the forums.

Confirming what others said...talking with ATT tech rep today who likes BlackBerry herself. She knew about Classic, that it is coming but had no idea when.

I believe they are selling the same version that blackberry does, why would that not work with AT&T? They seem to have all the AT&T LTE bands in that model. I think it only matters for financing your phone through the carrier?

The version they sell does work for AT&T, I know, because I'm using one. But the one AT&T is selling is only sold by them. Namely SQC100-2. The NA unlocked model all of the NA retailers are selling is the SQC100-4.
