Been a fan of Blackberry's since 2006. Tried a Torch, and a Q10, returned them both within 24 hours - stupid touch screen/ hybrid QWERTY format. Will the CLASSIC, actually operate like a real Blackberry ?

Can't wait ! Now let's hope the economy turns around, and I can once again get back in the saddle w/ a new Blackberry !

Thank you for the welcome. My device is a 3G Curve, Carrier is AT&T, located in Washington DC area.

My track pad has completely quit working, tried to improve the connection w/ card stock as a shim behind the battery, and mashing on the button HARD. The scroll feature would usually come back, however now the button feature of the track pad has quit working as well.

Believe my only option is to replace the device ?

The Classic is going to have touch screen too but the toolbelt's gonna come back which is the most important!

Oh and you could find a 9900 to tide you over

They were doing Q10's for free at one point, you could check into that one too.

Hmmm, OP seems to not like the Touch + QWERTY combo regardless of the toolbelt or not.

OP has tried both the Q10 and Torch...

My best advice is to get used to using a QWERTY + Touch device. The toolbelt does help the transition but from here on out that's the way it will be.

My last Blackberry was a Curve... 2G, lol. Then I had a bunch of Androids and iPhones and only recently came back to Blackberry with a Q10. I basically bit the bullet, hung onto it nonstop for 2 days straight until I got comfortable with it, now I love it, I wouldn't trade my Q10 for the world. Steep learning curve, sure, but it was well worth it.
