So first sorry if someone has already answered these questions.

I love BB and think it's OS is the best, but I'm currently on iPhone 5s. I want to buy an classic as soon as I come back from vacation but I have a few questions regards apps that I need to know before I buy.

    1) is there a native FB messenger app? And if no do you see delays with messages when you receive them?

    2) does viber or viber10 work fine? Mainly for messages and for calling

    3) do social media apps run smooth like FB, Twitter and Instagram?

Thank for any input guys (or gals)

Basically, no. Stick with your iPhone.

Apart from Twitter, there are no official native apps for anything else on your list.

People have varying degrees of success with mobile sites, Android apps, or 3rd party native apps.

Instagram can be installed and it will work smooth like it's native. Twitter is native and smooth too. Viber is not native and will duplicate your contacts like crazy. There's no native facebook app not even for messenger, and it cannot be installed from the amazon app store either. I would say keep your iphone

You should wait for the Rome to be released. It's running Android and has a QWERTY keyboard. Best of both worlds.

My experience in android fb messenger, facebook, instagram and viber installed on my Classic. Works 90% all of the time. It only lags a bit, but good nonetheless.

fb messenger works just fine for me (I even get notifications in the hub from the android mesenger app), but you have to download a specific version. no telling when fb will force an upgrade. but yeah, no native versions.. unless you count the nemory studios third party versions which don't work all that well.. dev will auto opt you into liking his page and following his instagram account and spam your hub with promos to his other apps even when you opt out of it.. ugh.. that's a different topic all together though haha
