I really hope it feels heavy (I have pre-ordered one). I hate the cheap plasticy feel of light phones!

It all comes down to personal preference. I like the heft, because it reaffirms what a solidly built device it is. I'd rather deal with that than putting a piece of toast to my ear, which is how someone referred to the Passport, lol. Different strokes.

I must admit, my Classic heavier feeling than I thought it would be.

Whether it's bad, good or indifferent; that's up to the user.

Apparently JC needs to launch Classic LITE to get more folks to move over to BB10!

    BTW, I'd recommend the Q5/ Q10.

Might as well call it the Classic Air. Just watch Apple would sue BlackBerry for using the word 'Air'. And then someone would complain the phone would be too light!

I like a heavy well built device, that's the main issue with Samsung phones is they feel like a cheap POS for the money they charge for the device.

When I picked up my first passport, the device felt like it was built like a German panzer tank and had value written all over it. That's just me, everyone has their our criteria for their devices.

It did feel heavier than expected first time i picked up but after 5 min digging into setup I forgot about that & feels normal as my bold 9900.

I would not say its too heavy, its more than acceptable.

My initial impression was that it is weighted very well. After using it for a day, I find that when laying down and trying to hold the phone up and type with it that it's a tad top heavy. Nothing that using it for a few days won't help me get over though, I believe.

Not that I'm weak, but 176g is just too much for a cellphone.
9900s weight was maximum, classic's just too heavy.

Call me crazy, but that is why I wont buy the classic and will be
still kicking around with my 9780/9790.

And flexibility apparently. IPhone 6 Boomerang edition. Where it will always come back to you.

But seriously, when you make a phone out of pop can material it's going to be light and flexible too.

You might think so but I couldn't possibly comment.

I found the IP6 to be too light and thin. I preferred the smaller, thicker 5 series. It felt more comfortable in the hand and was definitely more pleasant to use.
The 6+ is a nice weight but too big for my tastes.

I prefer heavier phones too. I used to buy the otterbox simply to add weight to my phones. It gave them the feel of being built like a tank.

Interesting the reason I bought a Classic is for the solidness. My iphone feels skinny and unbalanced in my hand.

iPhone 6 feels like a modern, incredibly well designed, high quality thoroughbred product. The Classic and Q10 fall short. Passport is simply too big, too heavy, too awkward.
