Just called a rep. She said it is available all channels on the 26th and it's $399 outright.

I am a BB Bold user, having switched back to it from my iPhone 5C, and am very excited about Verizon getting the Classic. Just today I was debating going over to AT&T, but now that the Classic is coming to Verizon I am happy to wait. Awesome!

I think plans like Edge are a great feature for Verizon customers. In my case I'm going to pay the full retail to preserve my old AllTel data plan. Will be nice if that $50 rebate rumor is true and applies. Either way, I expect this will be the last phone I buy for a long time.

I totally agree. It is my every hope the rebate apply's to this device at full price. If not I will not hesitate to plop down my $$$ for this.

Returned my Note 4 yesterday in anticipation. Loved the Note 4 but just something about the silky BlackBerry keyboards and Hub that keep pulling me back. I've tried several of the latest over the past six months and keep coming back to my 18 month old Q10. Much lower Edge cost per month for the Classic vs the Note 4 doesn't hurt either.

Not surprising given that Verizon is the only one offering a non-camera version and it would not surprise me that the feds have already got the first batch lined up for them.

Not pissed about the non-camera version...disappointed how they handled this "launch"...if it was just going to be available for pre-order on the 26th, that's what they should have said in the press release...not that it "will be available" because it most certainly was not available.

If it doesn't ship until the 5th I will just cancel my order and walk in the store on the 5th and get it. My guess though is it will update tomorrow with shipping sooner. I hoping it's a glitch since it showed up online sooner than the 26th.

My advice. Let it be. I've heard horror stories of people doing that and then going to the store to find out the rep says it's online only or not having any idea what your talking about. It's not worth the risk. Just be happy you are past it.
