I hope everything on the phone that looks steel and glass, is steel and glass.
not the cheap out job they did with the 9900. Frame was nice, but those frets SUCKED.
Regarding light up track pad- it better have the sequenced / opera style dimming like the 9900 has!

Nice. But 1st let's hope that it lights up. Besides, you don't want to be rubbing that track pad at the night when you're actually trying to peek. Haha
It definitely will be backlit. I can't imagine BlackBerry making such a stupid mistake. This is a qualifying factor for every BlackBerry phone with a tool belt, full stop.

I am with your there. The frets on the Q10 were great, the ones on the Passport seem to be of similar quality. The ones we see on the Classic however remind me awefully on those flimsy plastic frets of the Bold 9900

to avoid this start from the lower left and swipe diagonally to the upper right
I sure hope those are physical clickable buttons like the 9900 and not just patterns on the bottom of the glass screen that do not depress!
It doesn't really seem like a glass. Don't worry, it's been showcased already and anywhere you go you can confirm that those are the keys you are talking about
Some photos seem to show there might be a "chrome ring" around the perimeter of the trackpad. A similar chrome ring on the 9900 is where the light comes through. Even when lighted, photos of my 9900 sometimes make that ring look unlit. Some photo refractive-reflective property of the "chrome" might be tricking some cameras, sometimes... ???
