Doubtful. I like my Classic the way it is. Besides, I'll be rocking a Venice for my android needs. 🙈🙉🙊

I'm adventurous, I'd give it a whirl... But I fail to see how I'd appreciate the same old Android OS with a BlackBerry body... Just seems unnecessary. Now if it's some sort of a hybrid or something new altogether, than I perhaps could be wooed... But an Android OS in my BlackBerry's body? Yuck. Just seems so unnatural...

You didn't read a single word I wrote as I already stated in its prime, when BBOS was the majority, it didn't have viruses and malware. So this whole theory that BB10 or IOS or Linux, or even BBOS today, is just as vulnerable as Android, but it doesn't have enough users so nobody bothers is BS! As I also stated that people hack smart refrigerators, how many ppl own a freaking smart refrigerator???

When BBOS was "in its prime" the smartphone market as a whole was tiny, and frankly not a target. Only with the surge in smartphone populations since the introduction of the iPhone and the explosion of android have phones become a more popular target (and still much less than PCs).

The fact is there is no way to prove that BB10 is inherently more secure. All we know is that there have been fewer published exploits.

There's a term in the security world of "security by obscurity" which sort of applies to BB10. It's such a small footprint as to be an unknown presence and so it's entirely possible that no one had actually attacked it yet.

Man you people keep repeating yourselves. If it is safe just because it has no users then they wouldn't be writting articles about people hacking smart refrigerators and infecting them with viruses. There is absolutely no "gain" or "market share" for smart refrigerators and it destroys your people's ridiculous theory of BlackBerry being to small of a market to hack.

    Another stupid android question!

Why should anyone change over to Android if we got BlackBerry OS10 and a perfect BB phone all together

Wonder why nobody asking if you would run iOS on a Android phone or BB OS10 on iPlonker phone which may would be a great alternative :P

Questions where answered multiple times by now, if someone is own a BB phone best is to stick with BB OS10, otherwise get yourself a Google phone and play around with multiple Android versions, but stop asking stupid question on "would you like Android running on your coffee machine"

When BlackBerry OS 10 is longer supported (sad day), it will be time to move forward with whatever technology that BlackBerry will support. When that day arrives, I will move ahead. If Android, hopefully whatever version it is, I hope it has a BlackBerry touch. Yes, I'd load it on my Classic and evaluate if it is for me.

The Passport would be cool, but I feel that the Classic would be a nightmare in terms of performance. Does it have the processor? I mean it has the same internals as a Q10

Hmm, didn't realize. Maybe it would be great. I wonder how difficult it would be to implement the trackpad functionality.

I absolutely want a Classic Android Edition but only if it has better specs than the current Classic. But I don't think that's gonna happen so I will definitely buy the Slider if it's running Android.

    Posted via CB10
After trying GooglePlay and GoogleTalk on the Classic there isn't a single Android app I can't live without.

An Android Classic will need to have at least 3g of RAM. Now if those specs were on a BB10 Classic this phone would be humming.

I suppose if I had a desire to use Android, it would be better than buying a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus, and then using it with that b'fugly keyboard case that they're trying to push!
