Many others agree... but that isn't likely to happen as Android doesn't support a 1x1 display and that's the only OS they are using anymore.

I agree... although keyone is as close to a classic as you will ever get on Android.

What I would like to see is a K1 mini... a few millimeters narrower (width of 9900 or Q10) with a slightly smaller (maybe 4 inch) screen. Bonus if it uses the 9900 keyboard + new capacitive featues. Now THAT would be my dream device.

I'd like a smaller KEYone version too, but with the pkb of the Classic + toolbelt. I imagine this can not happen due to the screen limitations on Android.

I'd really love to see a Classic sized device. The KeyOne is really tall and I just don't like the keyboard without the trackpad toolbelt. You end up moving your hands and changing your grip more interacting with keyboard + screen rather than screen alone.

The android devices have some nice advantages but the hub+ needs to be even more integrated. I'd like to have android without the Google services if bb10 is done

OP, list all the items why classic is not make money and turned around for BB. (not only OS, just look at Priv). find out how to fix above mentioned items at cheap cost effective way. Lets see if it is feasible. I am looking forward to see all the items and may be with a clear vision (no hidden agenda), there are enough smart CBer on board to assess the feasibility if worth the time and money for any company to take the task on... (1st: what OS you like. forget droid, they don't support 1:1... ).

It's pretty easy to remove the back plate and replace the battery.

There are a couple YouTube videos, you should be able to do it yourself, just pull out the film tape from the left use.

Yes I would prefer this as well. The tool belt and track pad functionality are unmatched. My current Classic works exceptionally well for my needs so I hope the browser is maintained. If so I am good. The rest of the OS and HUB are glitch free on my device.

I still prefer using my blackberry classic Q20, truly a classic piece, durable and reliable, as my second phone mainly using it for all my e mail accounts. Awesome and beautiful
