My classic is dead. The battery has finally completely went out. I was going to replace the battery but read that it could be battery sensors and not just a battery. So I went back to an old Galaxy s6 for now. At least until I can afford a keyone or key2le. Haha

The battery is cheap and easy to replace, while you are banking $$$ for the K2/LE if you want you can order one and one of the cheap tool kits.

I saw over the weekend my local Best Buy had a K2LE on display. Kudoos to them for having it in stock - if you want to try try one out I would head over to one or a phone store near you.

I was surprised to see the Classic had larger keys than the K2LE.

I own the K2 silver. The Classic keyboard is much nicer to type on. The Classic is also much more balanced.

I am trying not to pick up the Classic because I fear I won't want my K2 again. I know we are at EOL for the Classic, but it was such a nice device.

Same here man.. a year ago I was riding my boosted board down a hill and slipped off, tumbled a few times and got f'ted up badly. I had my Classic in hand riding it and surprisingly it walked away unscathed. It definitely smacked on the asphalt though.

At first it seemed fine but I started to have battery issues afterwards and eventually one day it expired on me. Every time I plug to charge it initially boots showing the BlackBerry Classic logo. Right next it shows a weird error message with a link to a bb.com website, then shows a glaring big red battery logo with a "!" within it.

Sucks, the Classic was my first introduction back to BlackBerry in 2015 since the Curve days (I jumped on the iphone ship after the curve) and that little beast planted the seed and I became a crackberry.
