I don't use the "toolbelt" anymore...

I rotate between q, classic and passport. Lately I've had my classic as my daily driver. I did this in preparation of the keyone release.

I'm finding myself only using the keyboard and screen, not the toolbelt. I've always liked the q10 better than the classic, one reason being I can still be a poweruser without a toolbelt.

If I purchase the keyone, I'm fully confident that I'll be able to adapt to android without the need of a toolbelt.

Can't wait for more video reviews esp. a keyone/classic comparison!

Millions have been able to adapt to not having a PKB at all.... I expect most that have relied on it for years, will eventually get over it not being there.

I agree in that the more that I used the classic the more that I didn't use the tool belt

The trackpad is nice for selecting text and the physical hangup button can be cathartic. The Merc has a capacitive KB which will be easier to use since fingers will always be over it.

I have q10 and classic as well and though yes you don't need the tool belt anymore it is way better for text selection. I use excel and it's painful on the q10 after using it on the classic.

I feel I've evolved from it. I like my q better that I ever did the bold or curves.

Well... If it suits your needs not to use the track pad, fine.

I also switch between PP and Classic...when on classic I still use the pad heavily. Must admit for scrolling I am now a big fan of the capacitive pkb of the PP.
