Hey guys, new to the forum. How can I have different sounds for tex/email/phone? I went into the settings then notifications and there's nothing there to change tones?

Also, I can't send pictures through tex messages, any help?

Hi, pull down from the top of the screen with one finger on the home screen or two fingers if in an app and tap the word 'notifications', not the icon. At the bottom of the screen, select 'applications', from there, you can change tones for email, text, BBM etc... if you select 'contacts' instead of applications, you can assign separate tones for individual contacts.

In the hub, hit compose and then select text messages. Tap the paperclip next to the input bar and choose picture. Alternatively, in the images app, long press an image and tap share then text message.

It may be different in your OS version but mine is 10.3.1. Notifications>select profile e.g. Normal>Custimize App notification>Select service e.g. Text Messages>And there is all sort of different settings for txt msgs.

If you are on 10.3.0 you need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the notifications screen and then choose which application/email you want to change the tone for but be sure you are on that specific notification option like normal/silent, etc.

I am having a strange issue thou. My notifications works for other things such as alarm. However, the ring tone i am using for my phone call is not working.

I just got a new classic, and I am having an issue changing the ringtones for my contacts especially for texts. Anyone else have this issue or can make any suggests on how to fix this?

Go into the Contacts app, select a contact, tap edit, go to the bottom, tap ringtone and notifications, then tap text messages.

Thanks, but I had tried that. It still will play all the defualt tones or nothing at all in both Text and Emails.

So I am not sure what to do!
