Seems to me the Classic was most mostly made for Bold users who's contracts were finally ending, just wondering how many people on a Classic actually switched from something else

I hadn't any experience with BlackBerry devices prior to last November, when I purchased the Passport.

I purchased the classic upon its release, and bought a leap just last week.

The classic is the least used of my devices. I used the passport as my daily driver for the past year, and now use the Leap.

I think you're right. Most Classic owners probably used the Bold in the past. I'm guessing very few came from touchscreen phones.
Over the last 8 or so years, the phones i've had are: Curve -> Bold -> Q10 -> Classic

    Also, Gaudreau rocks!

    I guess I should state my background too, iPhone 4s > LG G2 > Passport > Classic.

Go almost half and half between my Passport and Classic.

Addicted the large screen, but also just as addicted to the trackpad, toolbelt and the best keyboard know top thumb.

I came from a 9810 slider (OS7). Went with a Classic due to cost of a Passport.

If I had realized the PRIV was coming out I might have waited for it, as I loved the slider form-factor.

Having said that, the Classic has been very satisfactory.
I hit several bonuses at once:
    1. OS10 web browsing HUGELY better than OS7's
    2. the 9810 couldn't handle LTE cell, so that alone was a huge upgrade speed-wise
    3. My carrier brought out a REALLY great unlimited data deal - combined with the LTE speed, I NEVER use WiFi, because we have very slow internet - the LTE is far superior.

I never had the 9900 Bold, but I did have the original 9000 and the 9700 Bolds. But I got the Classic coming off a Z30 and I feel it was made for me as well as 9900 owners.

I never owned a Bold. Storm > Storm II > Z10 > Q10 > Classic. I held on to my Storm II for way too long. I retrospect, I wish I would've given the bold a chance. I know now I would've loved it.

I never had a bold. First blackberry I owned was a Q10. In fact, the Q was really first real smartphone I owned. I came from a walmart slider.

My first blackberry is the classic. The last phone I had was an HTC and the one before that was an iphone 4s. Glad I made the change. Though I must admit the lack of some apps can be frustrating.

    Tour - Curve - Classic

I am taking a wait and see approach toward BB10/Classic, as I really don't like Android as an operating system.

I never had a Bold. I started with a Pearl, then a Curve. I switched to a few Nokia Windows phones for a few years then a Galaxy Note 4. Just got the Classic about a month ago and couldn't be happier!
