The Security wipe depends on the amount data that needs to be deleted. It usually takes a few hours tops..... this is unusual..... the best I can think of is to try an autoloader..... turn of the device and start the autoloader during boot up....

    Maybe someone else can help

I just did a restore through the phone and it was at 99 percent for 2 days. Unplugged it and it died and now it won't boot up. Have to connect to blackberry link and reload software. A lot faster then security wipe.

I manually deleted all music and videos from my phone first, then uninstalled every app possible. Security wipe took 20 minutes then.

20-30 minutes for me for a complete wipe and startup. I use about half of the internal storage and no SD card. 12 hours is definitely not normal. I'd estimate 2 hours for full internal memory and 16GB SD cad.
