The thing that I love about my Classic is the trackpad. I look at it as something akin to eating with cutlery. I am not a "screen toucher" and tend to avoid it whenever possible.

So, the question I pose to all you Classic users is this: How long can you go without touching your screen?

I didn't think I would use the track pad as much as I do!

Hit enter too soon. I can go all day if I didn't have to touch it once in a while in an app.

Not very long. I only use trackpad for when I need to copy/paste/edit text.

There is no way you can completely avoid touching the screen.

I try using the trackpad and buttons as much as I can, but there's always a screen touch. Now with bb10 apps are made for the touch BlackBerry devices too. So in some cases, you may not even be able to use a feature without touching the screen.

A perfect example is this app! While you're scrolling through forum posts and your trackpad is on there, how can you get to the bottom row of icons? You touch them.

With the CB app, you need to use your keyboard and type B (bottom). Once at the bottom you can access menus using the trackpad.

Never used the screen with the 99.

Using the track ball with the Classic is not as good, so I use a combination of both.

I think about 50/50. I came from an OS7 slider and am still fumbling a bit in OS10, but am very impressed with it.

Pretty sure I have to touch it to access the forums on the CB app. Which sucks!

How do you get around that blasted CrackBerry "Pull up to load more"? That's just so vile. Attention CrackBerry: Time to optimize your BlackBerry app -- for BlackBerry.

I avoid touching the screen and use the trackpad for everything.

I try to use both since I can.

But I came from a Z10, then Q10 and now the Classic so I've been accustomed to using the touch screen in bb10's os.

However, like I said, having the choice is the best part!

Are we talking about touch screen or some kind of contest ala master of your domains?

I use a combo of both and it really speeds things along. Add in the keyboard shortcuts, settings, back and home buttons and I rarely have to touch anything.
I do hate the pull down navigation on CB. I hated it on the Z10, it just sucks.

Yes, this could turn into a Seinfeld-esque Blackberry Classic contest. Who can last the longest without touching the screen? Who will be master of his or her domain?
