I have a user (boss) at my company who just got the Blackberry Classic. Her old Blackberry 9315 is receiving Exchange email from a BES but she also chooses to save messages directly on the phone. I set up the Classic using Active Sync without a BES 10, so Exchange mail, calendars and contacts sync. However, is there a way to transfer these "saved/filed" messages to the new device?

In the past, using a device switch via Blackberry desktop software has transferred these messages successfully. Then I could use Enterprise Activation. The documentation shows methods of transfer between Blackberry 7 and 10, but it seems unclear about these saved messages. I believe the Blackberry 10 has the option to continue to "file" messages to a folder but I would need to get the old ones. Any information would be appreciated.

You'll have to check the KDBs but Link should be able to. Device Transfer feature. I know for a fact it works on non-corporate devices.
