    i had a bold 9900 and drop it in water no longer working i have back up on bb desktop but classic is now handled by clbb link

    To switch the data from the 9900 to the classic, you would need the 9900 to be recognized by link. I don't think there is anyway to transfer the info to your new phone.

    You can try to connect your classic to Link and choose to restore and see if it takes the bbb file....i don't think it will work but you can try.

    I hope i'm wrong and someone can correct me....for your sake!

    If you used protect for backups on your bold, you can got to settings, BlackBerry Protect on your Classic and do a one time restore.
