I would like to find out what my options are for unlocking a new Classic that's locked to Rogers in Canada? How, where, how much and so on. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you bought the phone outright you can request the network to unlock it
they will do it sometimes for a fee $35 - $50 and sometimes for free (rare though)

If you didn't buy it outright you can still request them to unlock it, but they will only do so if the phone has been used on
your account for at least 90 days and you account is in good standing again for a fee $50 for Rogers.

If you need it unlocked right away but haven't been using it on the network for more than 90 days, you can try your luck calling the network and requesting it and tell them you are going on a trip out of the country and need the phone unlocked so you can use your prepaid simcard there, they may agree to unlock early for a fee.

if they don't agree and or you can't wait & just want the phone unlocked right away you can order an unlock code from an online unlocker like us, we can provide it even if you just got the phone today.

    Hope I was of help

All carrier and unlocked models currently are the same, SQC100-4. Works on all 4 carriers in Canada (RoBellus and subsidiaries plus Wind).
