    Hopefully it's a Verizon phone? I've heard that they whitelist phone models but I'm not sure about that with me being in Canada. They are also a CDMA carrier so a GSM phone won't work on their network either. I'm going to guess that you have already done that research and perhaps you are looking for a work around. If that is not the case then I'm pretty sure what I've said here is correct.

    If it's not a verizon branded classic it will not work on the verizon network

    Only a Verizon Classic will have the CDMA radiostack that you need to use the device on Verizon. The unlocked portion of the phone is the GSM stack that will work with almost any carrier worldwide.
