You don't. It's a built-in core app. Just don't set it up or any accounts to it and it'll never be used.

i want to know something about bb hub

i get notif on my lockscreen for any msg , calls etc i can see in the main screen.
So what does bb hub actually do..sorry i am very new to bb

basically all those notif appear in hub as well ?as in ios u can swipe from up and see those notif again but in bb10 its your setting, so the notif must be available in the bb hub am i correct?

if i set a gmail account in bbhub it will drain battery a ton?

thanks for looking into my post and your speedy response . Need guidance thats all here and there and good to go.

It puts all your messages in one easily accessible spot.

    No.

Gmail (android app) would likely use more battery. In BlackBerry Hub, just look at the settings; you can reduce sync intervals, for example.

Classic's battery life isn't great at all if you use Android apps.

    Try replacing it.

Screen brightness down, and airplane mode with radios on should help.

Are you really using a Classic or are you using a keyone?

You can't disable the hub on BB10. It's probably the most integral piece of the BB10 experience.

Why would you use Gmail instead of the hub?
