Has anyone taken the classic apart and painted the frets and frame black?

Is there a video on how to take it apart

It is certainly informative in that it shows that it takes an experienced person almost 20 minutes to separate the frame. It would take an inexperienced person much longer than that, and in addition, they would have to carefully store all the parts and make enough notes to make it possible to put the thing back together and have it fully functional once again.

I'm hoping that a company will create black aftermarket parts for the Classic like they did for the Q10 (silver, gold, etc).

Most of the metal frame and the trays most likely need more than just some coat of paint. There was a guy in the Passport forums who plated the metal frame of his Passport gold(?) at a metal company.
The bottom part of the frame is just plastic as are the frets, so you'd need to be carefuly in getting a matched coloring. I also doubt it'll be easy to seperate the frets from the keyboard.
