Nope, that is not the fingerprint scanner. The scanner is on the actual screen itself. You can see his actual fingerprint on the screen in the pic from Bla1ze. Maybe we should call him BHB ... Big Hands Bla1ze.

call me crazy, but I cannot see a difference from this phone and the bold 9900 which is 4 years old.

I feel as though this phone should have been the predecessor the the 9900 than the Q10 and now the passport.

I do swap my sims, multiple times maybe once in a week, maybe a couple of times a day, or maybe once a month! But I do!, so the apple way of inserting the sim is not at all useful.
And it doesn't have to be "4" or more! It just have to be at least once per day/week to be inconvenient with this type!
And not everyone are on PostPaid and not everyone use just one sim or carrier!

    But most do.

I see a hole in the sim tray? Is that a pin hole to open the tray? If so I don't like it.

    Luv my passport so far.

Yes a hole for opening the tray. It is about time that they make something to switch card easier and faster

Yes, that's why they call it "classic". That means they succeeded...

"Hey what's that big square above that keyboard? Is that a new fingerprint scanner?"

How Awesome would have that been!?!? Something to give more light to the BlackBerry Classic. Shame they didn't do it.. but it could've been some show off though.
