I'm surprized. Everybody was talking about that going from Q10 to Classic wouldn't be a upgrade.

But I really feel that Classic is faster. Android apps opens really fast too.

    Is it just me?

    Or

Will the phone get slower by time?

I can't speak for the Q10 to Classic move, but I have gone from an OS7 (98x Curve) to the Classic and the speed is totally great, especially with jumping from 3G to LTE cell service.

Both phones have the same processor and RAM, so the difference you're seeing May be due to a fresh system, fewer installed apps, and less data on the Classic.

I wish classic had at least snapdragon 615 or 800. Spec doesn't really have to be classic

Maybe... Probably the latest update messing me up but I was ready to smash my classic on the floor when I pick it up and all of a sudden it freezes for 40 seconds.

Starbucks app. Had am issue opening it for at least 15 min it would not load.

Little things like that. I think these issues weren't as much prevalent in the previous update. Waiting for the next update and also the blue classic.

Had the q10 for a brief time and thought it was a little toyish, compared to the classic.

But what I was trying to say with the last rant was that I also felt a speed upgrade from q10 to classic, but probably was just a placebo affect.

I had the q10 and the z10. I know the classic has the same specs but it seems faster than those devices.

You most likely are running out of memory. Search this Classic form and read about how to create more memory and to prevent it from locking up.

I feel trackpad use make me more precise and spend less in touching wrong places than Q10. This help me a lot.

For any other android app I better use my Galaxy Tab S.

If I install Android apps them really make it slooooow to open them and in some cases the use is erratic, like tapatalk.

From a PC you check my postings. There are a few postings regarding the Classic running out of memory.

To bad the CB10 is so antiquated to have this function.

PM me if you are struck. I will be glad to assist you.

Thanks will do that if I am stuck. At the moment I am on the Galaxy s4, while I wait for a coupon code for the blue classic to pop up. Will probably be a few weeks at least.

    Appreciate the help...
