Mine's twisted. It bugged me on day 1. Haven't thought about it since...until I saw this thread.
Now it's bugging me again.

Lol
This is an ergonomic feature. The slight counter-clockwise twist is because you all have right-handed models. ;) With your thumb angled in from the right side, the twist ensures that it's better squared with the trackpad.
Haha
Mine (2 now) and the floor model I just saw in the Verizon store have the same issue. This was not true on by prior Bolds. I noticed it immediately and have been annoyed by it since because it evinces a lower standard of quality control than BB should have. Also, the lights under the keyboard keys are not even, particularly under the space key--it's bright on one side and dim on the other.
Mine was installed slightly counter-clockwise. Drives me insane (I'm one of those likes-everything-symmetrical types) but since it doesn't affect functionality of the device, I try not to look at it

My blue BB Classic is the same. At first it annoyed me a little bit but after knowing that it actually affects many people I have gotten over it. I still love my blue BB Classic so much. The best phone ever!

We're a bit paranoid. Trackpad works very well and that is the important thing. Are you getting a microscope to test it? OMG

Have noticed this with my BlackBerry classic. But I think it's rotated for a reason. For right thumb scrolling. Mostly everyone uses their right thumb to scroll so it's a little easier. Just my opinion though. No facts.

I looked at a new Classic today and from certain angles, it looked slightly twisted. From other angles though, it looked fine!

Just got another one and its almost perfectly straight. Woot.
Yes, every trackpad is rotated cc. It's stupid. Some people notice, some people don't. The build on the Classic is just mediocre, but it doesn't really affect use imo.

Definitely not a clever design decision. Definitely a manufacturing mistake that can't be corrected in a way that might be financially worthwhile.

Mine is twisted that way but as long as it works I am fine with that.

Anyone from Australia with a Classic? Is the trackpad rotated clockwise for you? Lol

It's an optical illusion. Just rotate the phone sideways and it will look like it's twisted the other way. Mystery solved! Lol

Mine was slightly crooked, the lighting of the keys was also inconsistent. Unlike the PP keys which are all evenly lit and no light bleed from the PKB. I say "was" since I no longer have my Classic. Sounds like most are off centre and they still work so that's fine. The inconsistent back lighting of the keys and light bleed however was what killed it for me.

Mine is slightly twisted. I figured that it was intentional--to make it line up with your right thumb better.
From a Classic
Yes, yes it is!

I bought mine from the States so when I was in the Northern hemisphere it was twisted ccw. No I'm back in Australia it's twisted cw.
No, just kidding, mine is fine.
It looks fine by me. Can anyone tell me if it's twisted?

If you can't tell, then it's fine. It works right?

It may just be slightly crooked but other than that, yeah it works fine. Having a trackpad really makes everything efficient.

I tend to agree it's an optical illusion, at least on my Cobalt Classic, built in October. Depending on the angle at which I examine it, there is a slight CCW twist or no twist.
Thanks for giving me something else to do in my spare time. ;-)
