in the latest leak - 10.3.2.2639 - BlackBerry HAS FIXED THE DOUBLE TYPING ISSUE!

This can be verified by reading the posts in various threads about this latest leak in the BB10 Leaked /Beta OS forum - the OS is available for download in the thread "OS 10.3.2.2639 for all devices" thread in the BB10 Leaked/Beta OS forum.

I am posting this because apparently many Classic users are still not aware of this fix.

And this fix also works for Q10 and Passport.

I believe it exists from posts and comments I've read but I had a Q10 and now a classic. I have yet to experience it personally.

Any device with a physical keyboard has the possibility to develop the double typing issue. It's up to BB to write the OS to compensate for it, to ignore obvious double types.

You may get it eventually as the keyboard degrades, you may never get it. Not every keyboard will develop this issue.

Currently using the Classic for the last two weeks and no double typing so far. My previous physical keyboard phone was the Bold 9700 and I had that robust little workhorse for over three years and guess what: no double typing at all!

Me too. The Q10 has been a solid workhorse. I just have the Verizon vultures circling me telling me that it is time to upgrade. I'm going with the Classic as soon as I see a deal I like.

This is great news for me... I want to try using a BB and I love the Classic, DT is my biggest concern.
