Looking to get a classic for the wife and she uses snapchat a lot. Does the official snapchat work well on the classic? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also interested in hearing how people use Snapchat, as its one of the few apps outside of the basic email/text/phone/calendar apps I use daily. Biggest question would have to be around photo size and scaling of both sent and received images given the Classic's square screen. I would think that scaling a 16:9 to 1:1 wouldn't be a big deal on the larger Passport, but seems like it could be a problem on the Classic...

You could install Snapchat on BlackBerry through getting the .Bar file from many websites.

I am currently using Snap10. It's a native snapchat client for BlackBerry 10, works wonderfully!

Yes snap 10 for advanced features, viewing snaps and sending them.

Snapchat apk also sends snaps okay but it sends videos a lot better than snap10 since you could actually put a caption on them

Or just download the APK? .bar conversions hasn't been relevant since like 10.2.1.

I have snap10 on my passport and the video feature does not work. Nemory is stating they are working on a fix, however I also find when you want to add a comment, its a little finicky when you click the picture. Its like I have to click on the dialogue box a few times. How is snap10 working for you?

Passport users will definitely have to wait for more support. Hell, I'm still waiting for my z30 to get support from other apps that I bought on my z10...

Doesn't the Google play notification pop up when using the snap chat apk?

You can patch it with GMaps_Patcher and it remove the Google Play notification but now im having problem connecting on snapchat

I read that people using 3rd party apps are being contacted by snapchat advising they need to stop or risk having account locked. Although I don't use it myself I was considering signing up but scrapped that thought after reading about this.
