In playing music with my new Classic I noticed that the left speaker is not producing any sound at all.
So, I am wondering if I have a defective unit or if there is in fact only one speaker in the Classic, that being the one on the right side?
Does anyone know if there are one or two speakers in the Classic?
One speaker. The other hole is the microphone.
But, I wonder then for music, do we just get one channel? Or does the phone mix it to mono?

I am surprised at just how lousy that one speaker is.
Most of the phones out there has one speaker. Some flagship phones have both , but 9 out 10 you'll get one.

My speaker worked flawless when I bought the device and the volume was more than sufficient.
But I think some software update messed it up a bit and now it sounds louder and a bit worse.
Always , Always check specs before you buy would you have bought if you knew only one speaker .There was lots of posts on these forums about this .

Your post does not help answer my question. A person has previously answered my question which was helpful and appreciated.
My speaker sounds perfect however 2 would have been nice .:p
I was disappointed in the Classic speaker from day 1.
