    Hi,
I am planning to buy a Blackberry Classic. I live in India but I want to purchase it from Amazon.co.uk (that is from UK). I would like to know that can the warranty of a BB from a different country can be applicable in India.
    Does BB provides International Warranty?
Suppose I buy a BB from Amazon UK and later I need it to be repaired in India, can I do it under warranty ?

Funny part is that at least here in Mumbai I just can't seem to ever find a BlackBerry Service Centre. (the BlackBerry website shows a whole list of centers, but I've called them all and either no response or one guy would say that they shut down the service center)
I called my carrier for support also (yes I know my BlackBerry 10 device is unlocked, but I thought maybe they could help me out, but nope).
If the price is significantly cheaper, I'd say just go ahead and buy it from there in the UK.
Aside from the charging plug it'll be fine.
The 4G bands may not work here on Airtel 4G but you can look into the bands before buying it as I haven't looked or bothered whether all my BlackBerrys work on Airtel 4G.
So make a call based on
    1) super difference in prices
    2) cross check the bands in the UK and if you absolutely need 4G.
    Cheers

BlackBerry Classic, Passport and Z30 .

Hi..thanks for the reply, yes there is great difference in the cost, in UK BB Classic will cost about 260 pound (rs.24000 approx) and in India BB Classic is Rs.35000.
You said there are very less centers of BB in India. Is that means, if ever I have a problem with my BB, then I can't find a solution ?
and also please clarify that can I avail the warranty in India, if I bought it from UK?

Service centers (assuming they exist in your area) won't service your device unless you pay for service because you bought a device of another region
You can get service IF you send the device back to the UK
Your warranty only exists in UK, so if you take it to any other carrier or service center, you'd be lucky if they are willing to do repairs, but certainly you would have to pay for it yourself

One of my friends in Kerala got his Z30 display changed in warranty without any hassle and quickly enough too..
Not all service centres are irresponsible.

But considering that much price difference, get it from there my friend.

actually, BB Classic is been sold by an authorized seller in Amazon.co.uk and is not directly been sold by amazon.

Umm you can buy an official BlackBerry Classic for around 28K. It's definitely NOT 35K.
I bought mine on Flipkart for 28K during some promotion in February!!!
I think you need to look a bit more here in India itself rather than importing it at that cost.
