No, I think the Q20 will wholehandedly best the Q10 in every category - firmware specs, software feel, toolbelt, physical keyboard improvements, etc.
    Q20?

The Q20 will likely be the last Blackberry ever made because the company will be broken up after it gets released. Hopefully they continue to sell parts for it.

The issue is that the Classic hasn't got hardly any improvements, spec wise, compared to the Q10. Is the Classic battery even going to be any bigger? If so, do we know how much by? Surely if it is only slightly bigger, it'll be offset by the LCD screen compared to the LED on the Q10 with the Dark Theme.

I'm a Z10 owner and am now wanted a BlackBerry with a keyboard.
My ideal situation would be Passport specs in a Classic body.

Rumors from those with test units say the word coming down the grapevine is that they are testing batteries as big as 3150mah. Which is over 1000mah larger than the Q10. So, yes, potentially the Classic can be a real monster in terms of battery life...

Edit: I accidentally put 3250 instead of 3150 like the rumor states.

Though I believe the Q10 design to be a better design, and that there is little to no need for the tool belt, I believe that BlackBerry shouldve gone with the classic before the Q10, this would've insured a larger amount of people moving from legacy.

But this is only my opinion.

I'm all in for the Classic, just wished that BB would have used the 99xx ergonomic keyboard...IMHO, the BEST keyboard ever released!
I have used the 9900 for over 3 years now, used a Curve 8900 before that, and dabbled with a Q5 for a week before returning it. I don't get the rage over the ergonomic keyboard...will straight frets REALLY make that big of a difference? It's like a 1mm difference, if even.

Current Z10 owner. I've really enjoyed this handset, I bought it over the Q10 since it was on sale when I was home in the UK last year. I was really impressed with the Q10 when I first tried one and I've been itching to get back to the physical keyboard since, despite the Z10's great keyboard.

I'm pretty excited for the Classic to launch as the form factor looks great. IMO the slightly bigger screen (than the Q10) will be less of an adjustment from using the Z10 (and an iPhone) for the last year.

It's all about the flick tap and swipe with the Q10 and so for me would be redundant to have the belt section on the device.

It took me a bit to realize there was no return key and swiping to the Left accomplished this easily. If old users that are not familiar with os 10 just gave it a Chance they willv realise how awesome it is.

I think the classic will be significantly better than the Q10 and that it will become blackberry's best selling BB10 based phone.

I doubt it, the Passport is the phone that gets people to turn their heads. The Classic only really appeals to existing BB users. I think it'll sell better than the Q10, but that's about it...

It is not about learning the new operating system, but rather people like the function of the toolbelt. If the Classic, if ends up with basically the same specs as the Q10,(except for the adding of toolbelt, battery size, and screen size), then it proves the point of how useful the toolbelt is.

Q10 users are important because I feel they paved the way for the Passport and the Classic development, but I don't think the Q10 form factor will be back.
