Caught my finger on the touch screen of my Blackberry Classic selecting a different display language Settings and accidentally kicked into - hindi? Farsi? Sandscrit? god knows what.

How can I select English again for a display without wiping out my data when I cannot read the display options that are presented?.

I recognise the Languages ICON. I think I have found the display language option. How many down from the top of the list is English or French? Is the list always in the same order or is it in alphabetical order of the strange characters presented?

Any suggestions short of a factory reset gratefully received,

Thanks for getting bac k to me. Your suggestion was appreciated and would have bailed me out. All is good. I think my first time was Hebrew. Second stab was Hindi, third stab proved to be Arabic which someone recognised and switched me to english in seconds.

Perhaps what is needed is a national flag or other icon beside the option, or even a world map from which one could point and click?

    Best regards and thanks again.
