Somehow my device monitor is bugged and doesn't track actually battery usage. I keep getting graphs like this....

Device monitor - battery usage broken?-img_20141227_225345.png

Any idea what could be causing this and anyone else noticed that behavior?

What OS are you running? When is as on I had the same issues as well. Nothing could ever fix it. Once I went to the latest leak it went away.

Have the first thing you do each time you start the phone or reboot it be opening the device monitor.

Ha. You are recommending a buggy Os without checking first. Os leak is not fix all solution.

Symbian is still and always my favourite Os. Nokia 808. FilePLAY Music Player

Just my experience with the same issue. installed the latest leak and it went away. If he has got a brand new phone and official OS then I guess we have some buggy OS.

Ditto . . . the recurring symptoms have disappeared with the latest leak for Z30 / Classic installed on my Z30.

So I'm guessing there is no fix for this issue. I noticed it after going to 1154

My Passport shows the flat line graph when I've charged it from a pc USB hub instead of the OEM charger. I suspect it has something to do with the higher current OEM rapid charger vs what the lowly hub puts out.

I'm running the current official OS on the Passport 10..3.0.908

I will check that out. I usually charge my passport with the wall charger that came with my old bold or torch.

I guess it is charger dependent. At least for me. Old wall charger, I get the flat liner. The new USB charger, it works.

Ok! When I first saw this thread a couple of days back, I checked out my device and everything seemed to be displaying as it should.

Now, after 2 weeks of owning the classic I seems to be having this same issue too. The phone was plugged to the charging point overnight. Unplugged at around 6:30 AM and since then has been under use, but this is what I see in the device monitor. I am running the OS version Clearly

Did you try my earlier suggestion, that the OEM Passport charger with higher rating does not give the flat line device Monitor usage graph yet small, low output chargers and USB ports on PC's give the flat line effect?
