Not sure what you're looking for as far as the screen capture, but generally I can get a full day out of the battery, but not always. Obviously will depend on how many apps/etc you're running. I think the lack of a removable battery is this phone's biggest flaw.
When I'm traveling I find I need to plug in at least once during the day.

What's BlackBerry are you using now? In my experience the Classic lasts longer than the Z10; slightly longer than the Q10; about the same as the Z30; but does not last as long as the Passport.

I usually only have to charge the phone at night. During heavy usage I sometimes do plug it in the charger around 8pm (day starts at 9am), but that's more of a precaution so I don't have to worry about it getting too low by the time I'm heading home.

I'm using Passport now. . It's.... a bit big for me. Lol. It's very great though. If it's as good as the Z30, then I would not be worried. Are you sure about this? I used the terrible battery life having Z10 before, but the Z30 is good enough for me.

Post No. 3 understood what I meant. Lol. Thanks for the info! I'm not a very heavy user, just some texting, browsing, emailing, and phone calling for a couple of minutes a day. I hope it's good for me.

I don't know why but my battery experience is not the 2 day limit everyone says. Has been like this from day 1. As you see 65% left and says 5 hours (with operations of course). Have not customized anything though like brightness etc. I can say that it lives through the day fully. Today was an off day by the way so not much usage!

Your system and PM is a bit high. Does your device get hot?

Then I wonder what's burning your battery. Because in my normal usage, the highest consumption of the battery is caused by the display.

I got mine from Expansys. Don't know if the batteries on the unlocked models are different. I also read that wireless charging does not work on my model SQC100-1 (from the forums never tried it)

That's why I also stopped using the Passport. It's a great device but a bit too big. Battery life depends on a lot of factors: usage, reception, brightness. I'm happy with the Classic's battery life. I have thought about going back to the Passport but not just yet.

OP, I was having an issue with my battery life as well. After some research in the CB Forum I found two areas to make changes and my battery life improved a lot. After 4-5 hours my battery went down to approx. 35%, after making the changes below, (as I type this) I am at 8.5 hours at 72%. I'm using it about the same amount of time as before.

Here is what I did:
1) Turned off BB Protect
2) Went to App Mgr > Permissions > (Run when Minimized and Run in Background) > Denied. Can't say this is an issue for anyone else, but it worked on my Classic.

Thanks! I haven't used it yet, and I want to know beforehand the battery life because I'm coming from the Passport which has an excellent battery life! If I finally bought it, I would definitely remember your advice.

The touch sensitive keyboard was a nice thing. I did like using it. The wide screen of the Passport did make viewing webpages, emails, and pdf files much easier. The screen resolution is sharp and the screen is bright. The Passport feels premium in my hand. But the Classic had a better feel in terms of size. I don't always need a wide screen so I didn't need the Passport's features everyday. I also felt good using the Passport because I knew I was one of the few people using one. LOL
