I am really happy w/ my Oneplus One, especially as a media consuming device.

However, the OPO is cumbersome for anything productivity related, such as email, calls, messaging, etc.
Hence, I am looking for a secondary device to negate the OPOs shortcomings.

Is the Classic suitable for the task at hand?

    Cheers and best wishes
    Sebastian

Both the classic and the passport will suit your needs... personally I think that having two phones for personal needs is a bit redundant but to each his own. I'd prefer a bb/tablet combo.

I used my OPO along with my Q10 for a couple of months for the same exact reasons. Q10 for text/call/email, everything else on OPO. After a while I realized OPO size is just too big for me and couldn't get used to it, sold it (only lost $20 on it, which is really impressive) and picked up Moto X Gen 2. Still using Q10 though, waiting for Classic to come on Verizon, then I'll most likely pick it up and be set with phones for a year.

Generally speaking, if you're okay with carrying two phones then Blackberry is perfect just as communication tool, once you start with apps and other stuff it's nothing but frustration. The other players - Apple and Google are light years ahead.
