That is an awful guess. I heard it was going to be around January 15th. I hope I am closer to the actual release date of the white BlackBerry Classic than you are.

Oh boy do I ever hope you are right! And I agree, early March seems waaaay too far off! That said, I believe the white Passport was made available at the end of November which was roughly two months after the black Passport was initially released. So does that mean that BB is looking at the white Classic being released in mid-Feb based on a mid-December launch?

They should be flooding the market with black and white (and blue and bronze and yellow and pink and **insert your colour of preference here**) devices!!! Okay, maybe not, but I think there's a strong market out there for white devices (I have zero empirical evidence to back that statement up!) so let's get on with it, BlackBerry! I've got a corporate upgrade all ready to go and I'm holding out for the white Classic so that it can sit proudly next to my white Passport!

Just tested the Classic at a Bell store. Holy $h!t is it ever a sweet phone! I never realized just how much I missed the trackpad until I picked up the Classic. Text editing and browser precision clicking just cannot be beat with the trackpad by any device out there... period! The Classic is THE ULTIMATE one-handed device!

Now I play the waiting game. Wait for the white or just go for it and get the black??? First world problems!

I was the same waiting for my white Passport. It was worth the wait. So many compliments. Hang in there the white Classic will be out before you know it.

When is BlackBerry going to announce the release date for the white Classic???? With every day that passes, I get more and more tempted to just pull the trigger and get the black Classic. But I'm afraid that the minute I do it, the white will get announced and I'll have instant regret!

Thank god I have my white Passport to hold me over! C'mon, BlackBerry! Make that announcement already!!!

BlackBerry don't seem to think that offering all colors at launch would be a good idea? Come on as far as I know we are the only suckers waiting for color options months after the phones been out. I bought a Passport the hour it came up sale just to sell it in Dec for a White one at a loss to me. I refused to do this for the Classic but I did go and buy a white/Gold Q to hold me over and I love this phone. I get lots of compliments.
Chen here is an idea, get with the program like all other manufacturers.

For me and many others the white BlackBerry Classic not only looks better but it is easier to read the keys and easier to find your phone when it is out of pocket.
