I have no desire to get the classic, but it definitely is the best looking blackberry, if not phone, made to date

I can't think of any instance where I would need a lighted trackpad.
Your thumb would completely cover it up.
And with the keypad and the screen kit up, there would be enough light to see where it was, and once you are using it, it isn't like the keyboard where you are moving from one key to another.

There use to be a really good video on youtube that showed the Bold 9900 when it powered down in sequence, it was a thing of beauty. If I find it later I will post it. I think it's more for the style and would be a great little addition to add to the device.

I'm just going to say it, to me the Classic is reminiscent of the original Bold 9000 in size and width.

Never realized till the other day from this thread that the Classic is rather large compared to what I'm use to.

This is my go to phone now.... but the Classic is one gorgeous and sexy phone!!!

I couldn't get used to having to select symbols and punctuation via the touchscreen. (I carried the device for almost two weeks and used it as my daily driver). I send a ton of work emails that require this type of use and the alt, shift and symbol physical keys are a must.

Also if Verizon were to carry the Passport I may be singing a different tune.

Since waiting for the Classic, I've decided to pull out the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S5 and browse a few forums with them. The screen is nice to have, but typing just plain sucks on all-glass screens! So many errors and very inaccurate imo.

When using Android I always use the swype which makes it more manageable but it still doesn't come close to a physical keyboard.

I think the Apple types a little better and is more accurate but I still make errors and always have to backspace a lot.

The app selection is a little better (for now) on the Apple/Android but I think this will change in the future. Again, can't wait to get my Classic!

I hope to God my carrier would have this available once my contract is done. This just make me drool over the classic so much more.

I am concerned about the size, currently using LG G2 and seems Classic will be close to that size.

Was really hoping for easy one hand use, and typing.

May have been asked but the toolbelt, real buttons that click or simply capacitive ones?

Simply Awesome. Thanks for sharing and ruining my day at the same time. I'm very jealous!!! I can't wait to get one. But in all seriousness, those are great pictures and really show the classic (timeless) beauty of the device.

Real buttons, and yes, been asked many times before. :-P

But I know it's annoying to try to read through hundreds of posts to find something.

Peeps keep talking about the beauty of the classic. That's nice but what the beauty will do if the phone doesn't perform well?

This is a picture from Blackberry`s blog. In my opinion the back of the Classic in this one looks much better than on other photos

What gives you that understanding? The Classic works very smoothly, and can handle Android Apps very well.

Remember, it's not just the processor that determines speed. OS10.3.1 has made some pretty great optimizations, and was designed with the Classic as its primary goal.
