Anyone have some good size comparison pics of the classic next to a z30. Been looking online and only really found 1 pic but it has a bunch of other phones in the pic as well. Thx.

Hi. I'll have to get pics but just bought a classic and am loving it. My z30 didn't have wireless charging but my classic does. Loving it but both are the cell phone to own! Z30 isn't all that much bigger!

That's what I was wondering. I really didn't like the q10 I had because it was way too stumpy lol. I sold it after about a week of owning it. But the Classic looks like a good size, if it's not too much smaller than my z30 I think I'm going to order one.

Agree with you about the Q10. Q10 was ok but trust me the Classic is way better and the size is just right to clearly see everything. Z30 and even Passport are really great but if you want a real keyboard the Classic should not be passed up.
Hard to see how Classic is better than Q10. Having tried it I was - get me back to my Q10!

I have both, so here are some pictures.
The Classic is definitely thicker, and the Z30 is definitely longer.
Let me know if you have any other questions

Thank you!! This is what I wanted. Wow it is not too much shorter than the Z30. That's awesome. Seeing this might push me over to buying one, gonna check out a Tmo store tomorrow and see.

Classic is a little thicker and heavier. Stood in front of the Z30, the Classic's top is flush with the top of the Z30's screen, with the top bezel of the Z30 sticking out. And the width is identical.
From a Classic
Yeah, the Classic is a lot bigger in person than you might think. It's a great sized device and I'm enjoying it a lot. One thing I was surprised by was the weight. Not like it's too heavy to hold, but it's definitely not a featherweight device. It's got a good feel to it, like the Passport and Z30 do.

How is the performance of the Classic compared to the Z30?
Posted via CB10
Classic performance is similair to the q10 and z10. Trust me, easily fast enough. Its fairly slow with android apps tho

They both perform the same to me, which is excellently. I've loaded Instagram on my Z30 but not my Classic, and have no other android apps on my Classic.
They're both great phones.

Those photos make me yearn for a Z30...

So yesterday I went into an Tmobile store to play with a Classic. They didn't have one. So I went to the ATT store and wow I fell in love. The form factor has always been fond to me as a previous owner of the 9000, 9700, and 9900, and briefly the Q10. But the size and feel of the Classic is perfect! I don't even care about the old specs, it's still a smart phone and epitomizes why I love BlackBerry in the first place. So later that night I called up Tmobile and made the switch. In a couple of days I will truly be a Classic Man ;)
Thanks again for everyone's feedback, for the pics, it was very helpful. I love this community! #TeamBlackBerry

That's awesome, and so is the Classic. Honesty, don't pay any attention to the people saying it has old specs. Yeah, the Passport has better specs, but the Classic is in no way crippled by the older specs. It's fast and has a great battery and takes good pictures. People are obsessed with the latest specifications, but just because the Classic doesn't have the latest doesn't mean it's a lesser phone.
The Z30 is really nice. It looks cool with the carbon fiber, and although I got it about a year ago, 10.3.1 has made it like a new device. BlackBerry10 is awesome on a full touch screen phone, they really have the best virtual keyboard out there, in my opinion.
Those pics really show the extra screen real estate of the z30. So unless you really need/want the physical keyboard....

Looks like the Z30 adds a *little* more length but about double (subjectively, not empirically) the screen real estate.
I went from a Z10 to a Classic. If you look at the measurements of the Z10 and the Classic, they are almost identical in size. Screen real estate seems around the same as a Z10 would be with the virtual keyboard permanently in place, but a little wider. I needed the keyboard because most of my use is email, text, BBM, cut and paste documents, and phone. Videos are small so you may want to connect it to a larger screen if you are going to do Netflix or other online video. But overall, it has been a nice transition to the Classic and even though I think BlackBerry makes the best virtual keyboard, I am very happy to be back on a physical keyboard. So much more efficient and quicker way to get things done.

I just held a Classic at Bell and it felt amazing, but I am just a little worried I'll feel the difference in specs coming down from a Z30

Holding it in the ATT store is what sold me. I know what you mean though, I have a Z30 as well and I ordered a Classic on T-Mobile. But I still think the positives of the phone will win me over and I wanted to support t-mobile for their recent decision to have a BlackBerry phone again. And it's a newer device so I've been looking forward for something new for a while now. But I completely understand your concern with the specs. From what I've been told and read you won't feel the difference in the OS but probably will in the Android run time.

How is the battery life of the Classic compared to the Z30?
Posted via the Z30 on CB10
Z30 has a better battery life, but with the recent updates it has gotten better for the classic. I can go about 2 days without charging.
2 days on the Classic? I can't even get that on my Z30!

I have both phones. I don't have the technical data but I feel that the Z30 lasts significantly longer than the Classic under normal usage, FYI
