Hey guys. Went from a Classic to a Passport and back to a Classic. I know, I have issues. The first Classic was super responsive on the trackpad. The Classic that I just picked up has a trackpad that's hard to even use - not responsive at all. I've altered the responsiveness settings and still no joy. Defective trackpad??

I find the trackpad hard to use due to the small size. No matter how many times I adjust the setting I can't use it comfortably. The touch gestures is working great though.

I must say that in comparison to the 9900, the Classic trackpad can be a bit erratic. It's not consistent in its sensitivity - sometimes it charges around the screen, whereas sometimes it's slow (I have the sensitivities both turned quite low).

Another issue is that sometimes the trackpad just gets 'lost' (or rather the cursor does), and I'm only able to get things moving again by touching the screen - which isn't what I stay with Blackberry for!

I very much hope this will be addressed in future software updates.

I smell a warranty claim. My Classic's trackpad works fine, had to get used to it, but it does what it has to!

How loud do all your trackpads click when pressed? Is it similar in volume to the keyboard keys? Mine is really loud, way louder than the keys and it almost looks like it's just the slightest bit cocked in the frame...just ever so slightly. But the click is loud enough where I've seen people look over at me if we're sitting next to each other and I press it several times they give me a look like it's annoying.
