Looking at the Classic on Amazon can be had for around $350 vs nearly $500 at ATT.

Can the unlocked version get the ATT LTE speeds?

    Thanks.

I bought my Classic unlocked from Amazon. I've had no problems with AT&T getting LTE. I've set mine up with AT&T as a prepaid Gophone.

The only difference I think is the wireless charging

Amazon has the AT&T version too, but it's still more expensive. Back when I got mine they were both around the same price and the AT&T version has wireless charging. Amazon has it for $440 now, oh well.

Edit: But to answer your question, yes, the unlocked version will work fine for AT&T. I used one before I swapped it for the AT&T version.
