So I guess before I buy a classic I should see if anyone on here has one on T-Mobile and if there getting LTE and hspa plus never purchased an unlocked device so just want to make sure.

I have the Passport from Shop BlackBerry and one from Amazon. They're both sold unlocked like the Classic, and I get 4G LTE and 4G in not so good places, I haven't seen HSPA+ since random days back when I had my Bold 9900. I actually get better 4G LTE than I got with my Q10 and Z10 which were from T-Mobile back when they sold BlackBerry devices still.

Anyways, just make sure you have a nano sim, since that's what the Classic takes.

All good on T-Mobile in New York City. Bought my Classic on Amazon in December, went to T-Mobile store to buy a nano SIM, plugged it in, turned it on, been using flawlessly ever since. No wifi calling though. Everything else not a single issue to date.

I have a Classic on T Mobile USA and I get 4G LTE, I get a great signal and the call quality is excellent.

It works with band 2 LTE on T-Mobile from what I've read. T-Mobile is rolling out LTE in rural areas on Band 2 (1900 MHz). This is essential for me as I visit my family from time to time and would like to have LTE when I'm there.

My unlocked Classic purchased thru Amazon with 10.3.1.747 and free nano sim from T-Mo works just great in SoCal. I also get "H" reception sometimes instead of LTE. Note my first sim did not work, but was able to replace immediately at local store. Really appreciate the physical keyboard after 2 years with Z10.
