At maximum volume, my notifications are at about half volume on my Q10.

When I check my notification settings, it says that my profile level settings and app level settings are different. However, I've checked and they are all set to the profile setting.

Is this a bug, or have I missed something?

    Any ideas?

Its a bug and it's been going on since the onset of 10.3.1. I was hoping they would have fixed it with the last leak of .2072 but doesn't seem like they have. I'm not sure if it's only on "Q's" or if it's on all builds as I too, have a Q10. Hopefully it will be corrected soon. All BB is interested in right now is the Classic and Passport Launches.

It's odd because when I used a z30 on. 1.1154 I never had this problem. But I do have it on two different passports.
    Very odd

Thank you - at least I know it's not user error.

Hiya. Just my quick .02 cents...
Experienced the same as op. Was missing messages etc which is flat out unacceptable. This is BlackBerry. Should never be an issue.

Installed Hub++. Good app. Good fix. Problem solved.

Edit: February 20th: hub++ has failed. Phone ringtone volume to a whisper. Reboot, reinstall, etc etc. Email tech support. Nada. BlackBerry support, nada. F++++ crap. Stood by BlackBerry all these years, now I start to wonder.

I don't have a problem with the volume, but I find the calendar notification way too short. It only lasts a couple of seconds. It wasn't that way with my 9700.

Really? I think it's too loud. I had the low volume issue on my Q10 after upgrading to 10.3.1 but this thing blasted me out and I had to lower the volume from 90 which is what I had been setting it at on the Q10 to 60% and honestly I still think it might be too loud.

Well its an unusual bug. Some have it and some don't so it must be tricky to fix.
    Only on 3.1 though

I would check and double check all settings and set up settings for contacts if they are all correct the device could be defective and exchanged for a new one . ( my are loud if notification setting is high) top button right side .

It seems a few others are experiencing this issue after updating the OS to 10.3.1.

As go1ndr stated, this has been a problem with all 10.3 OSs.

You can download a free program to your PC called Audacity. You can then export the notification sound files from your device - use Audacity to increase the volume of the file - then save the file under a modified name (so you can distinguish it from the original) - then export the modified file back to your device

Very easy and fast to do.

Helpful, but not exactly the work around we should have to do.
