I agree that my ideal Classic would be an updated 9900, larger to accommodate the 3.5" screen and have the ergonomic "smiley face" keyboard of the 9900. I have a Q10 and, in my opinion I cannot type as fast, nor as accurately, on the straight keyboard. The 9900 keyboard was THE BEST physical keyboard ever designed.

And I would find a way to utilize BIS, and NOC...the data compression was awesome.

    Just my two cents worth.

I want the smiley face keyboard and BIS -- then the classic would be the blackberry to get.

For now it doesn't make sense for me to leave the Q10. If I want the tool belt that bad I will buy a 9900 that has BIS as well for less money.

Talking about an OS being inherently better, from an end-user perspective, is silly. End users experience features implemented on the OS, not the OS itself. BB10 is far more capable than BBOS as an OS. That's not even a reasonable discussion.

Talk about features you miss, sure, but to say you care about the OS is like talking about the manufacturing process for your car's radiator hose. It only affects you if it's broken.

I think it's going to be great. I'm an Android fan that's debating coming BACK to BB because of BB10 on this form factor. I know a lot of people that are considering it too.

What they are doing is working.

BBOS8 would not have brought me back.
