    Hi, new to me Classic restored to factory no media card. When I go to play any video or audio the playback stalls every second and I need to press play again. If I record a short video using the camera, YouTube playback, or audio. Can anyone help? Gary

    If the phone is new to you, and there is no risk of losing data, why don't you do a security wipe and then reset it to factory defaults again.

    If it's a hardware thing, try cleaning out the headphone jack.
    Normally, removing headphones will cause the music to pause. So if that jack is acting up, it could be causing your music to pause.

    Thanks for the tip, I did a full restore and tried jacking around with the headphones jack, no go. Returned the unit it has to be faulty.
