Classic is just right
I was initially very sceptical when I heard the specs of the Classic. Coming from the Q10 I wondered if it was worth the money; having now bought it I can gladly say I was wrong. The Classic is an excellent device and it definitely sets BlackBerry on the right path from here. The keyboard is excellent and the toolbelt is very practical (in ways I couldn't have imagined). The battery is excellent and the browser is also pretty fast. In fact I can't see a Classic 2 being released this year as a result.

I agree. I wasn't sure if I should get the Classic since my Q10 was working fine. But OMG. The keyboard on the Classic is good enough reason to make the change. Add in the screen, size and LCD display, the size and weight of the Classic plus the toolbelt and it is just the bomb. It is the Beast and I am loving every minute of it!!

Agree in full definitely worth waiting.
Had itchy fingers as the passport was available but the Classic made my day, glad I had the patience to wait a few weeks longer.
Much more snappy than the Z10 and battery live is a killer too, didn't manage to get below 36% even after 18h use (on 4G/LTE if that counts)
Ohh yeah did anyone mentioned the capability of plugging in a USB device straight in to the microUSB socket?
Working great with microSD adapter and USB sticks alike, recognising the external files in an instant.

Yup. I'm liking my Classic more every day. The screen size and keyboard size is perfect for me. It's a nice feeling pressing on the Call and End buttons. I'm getting back into the habit of using the toolbelt. I think that having 10.3.1 also makes the experience much better. I liked 10.2.1, but the new OS does feel nicer and more fluid.

True about the LCD, imo so much better than the dark AMOLED of the Q10.
I remember all the post about how BlackBerry could do such a terrible mistake an go BACK to LCD, when amoled is of sooo much better of course....
For some the Classic was a fail months before it came out ;-)

Have to agree 100%. Sometimes some objects have that special "something" about them that is hard to quantify, but makes them addictive to use. My Bold had that, and the new Classic does too.
