I love the look of the classic but a deal breaker for me could be the specs. Can it handle something like log me in remote access running on it?

Are you willing to use a dual core device?? (gotta ask this one because the deal breaker for u is the specs)

So is dual core enough to run something like remote connection? Or would it be annoyingly slow?

BlackBerry 10 runs smoothly on all the different devices. It's designed to be efficient, therefore works well on lower spec'd devices. If you're app needs are met by BlackBerry World and the Android apps you require work well on BlackBerry 10, then you can't go wrong using a Classic.

    Is it an Android app?

In that case, the limitations of the runtime kick in well before the limitations of the CPU.

I'm starting to notice those limitations on my Passport, with two apps: Kindle and Tapatalk. Both are taking longer to open with each update (app update, that is) and performance is bogging down. And the Passport has decent horsepower.
