In Hong Kong, couple of weeks back, Chen said that the Classic will launch one month after the enterprise server release (BES12). So I guess the Classic will be out by mid-December. At 1:05:54 in this video.

November, December, it's all good either way. I'm not in any rush to spend money, my auto insurance is due November anyway...

An email being setup as IMAP does not necessarily mean it will push to the device.

This famously got pushed into the spotlight months back when gmail stopped supporting push via exchange active sync unless you had a business account with Google.
That's why I use Outlook. No regrets...

That video makes me sad. I really hope they stick with the November timeframe and that was more of Chen talking off the cuff about general product timing.
It will be announced in November but release date or shipping date will probably be December...

dang, mid december is a dissapointment, I was looking at mid to end november for sure.
I hope we'll get pricing information on the 12th though, I'm keeping a really close eye on the classic atm as I'm going to buy either a Q10 or classic as soon as I can or have more information about the classic..

I was pretty sure the Classic WOULDN'T be released in November - a few folks wigged out when I said that but things are what they are. We would be lucky to have the Classic In December - more likely late January early Feb 2015.
