I'm using the BlackBerry leather slip pouch (non belt clip version) love the slimness of it and the fact it can't turn on in my pocket...

I had the defender but found it too bulky on using the keyboard and it wouldn't go into my pocket without a fight because of the rubber shell (not a belt clip fan with my type of job)

More than adequate to protect the screen - both from a perspective of face down as well as from the side.

As I said, Seidio has great customer service - so if you don't like it, you can return it. Also, check out to see if you can get it on Amazon cheaper than direct.

I use the Otterbox Defender with holster for my main case. Very sturdy case. Solid with no creaking. I also own the Seidio surface case with holster. Works good but I like the added protection of the Defender for jobsites. Seidio holster has the sleep magnet in it too. Nice to put the phone to sleep or wake it up just by holstering it.

Otterbox Defender is best. Had them on all older BBs

Have a Seidio for a PP (orig) with the hard exo-skeleton and skin. Good protection but slicker to hold as the case is hard plastic while Otterbox is textured rubbery.

I can vouch for Seidio Surface case. Love the matte finish, slim profile, cut-outs for all buttons, and the small hump on the edge protects the screen and all edges when dropped. The holster is awesome too. Easy one hand operation, simple snap for holstering, and magnet for putting it to sleep.
