    The difference is - BlackBerry builds the devices for North American clients in North American facilities and the ones to be sold to the average consumer were built in China. Has nothing to do with differences between a device built here or there. BlackBerry has to be able to say to regulated clientele how their devices were built in North America and not China. It is pretty simple to me. It doesn't mean one is better than the other, it just means the geographical location of the build can be verified as 'built in NA' for their regulated clientele.
