I am a long time BB user. I would like to move to the Classic...but I would like to know: (1) Who is responsible for the battery if it goes bad and you are still under warranty? (2) Where would you send the phone to get the battery replaced? I have called every store in my area and cannot find an answers to my questions. Thank you!

    1) would be whomever you have the warranty with. Typically carrier then BlackBerry in that order.

    2) depends on the above. But the point of purchase should include warranty information that will lead you on that path. The location depends on the country of purchase as well.

For example if you buy direct from shopbbry, then your warranty will be to create an rma request. Get it approved. Then ship it to their repair facility. When I repaired my LE's they sent me all the info I needed.
