My Classic seem to charge to 100% and work when is plugged to charger but as soon as i unplug from charger, the device got turned off.
After getting off, attempts to turn on with the button don't success

Today I removed the back plastic, and disconnect the battery (it requires a torx T3)
With battery disconnected but plugged I turned on and I received the error bberrror.com/bb10-0020, so for BB battery is mandatory
Then i connected back the battery and closed the phone, turned on (unplugged) and the phone started well and it is still working.

Conclusions,
the battery pin connection can be problematic despite of being recognized by the phone
with a dead battery or without battery the phone is a brick
